In which case you'll need to speak to Keiten in Kugane to start the quest "Dramatis Personae". If you've already done that, and are somewhere in the middle of that questline, you can simply speak to the npc outside of the airship dock (or use the aethernet to go directly to the airship dock) and ask to be taken to the airship.

@leaden ginkgo in system config one of the settings should allow sounds to play when you’re tabbed out. Enable it for system sounds and that should do it
