In case it wasn't clear from being part of the relic chain - you will need to have completed the quest chain that unlocks the Resistance Weapons through the point where your first is created at minimum to access the Southern Front @shadow cove
Which, in turn, requires a level 80 combat job, completing the Shadowbringers MSQ, and completing the Return to Ivalice quest chain
However, you'll be able to access the Southern Front on any job level 71+, and you will gain experience for it!
