14 does have a historical issue where it sometimes freaks out if your sound device disconnects (e.g. a headset coming loose briefly)

It got a lot better with Shb but it's not entirely fixed in my experience. I used to run into it all the time so now I just use Voicemeeter which basically lets you always have that as your primary sound device and then you use the software to point it to your headset or switch to speakers whenever

The commonly accepted method for levelling in POTD is to start at floor 51 and clear to 60, then reset the save and start back at floor 51, though if you don’t have floor 51 unlocked, 1-10 is an acceptable alternative.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

I just recently downloaded the game through steam and I am having trouble logging in. I don't know why but it always say "incorrect id/password". I'm not sure why that's happening. I already linked my steam account to Square Enix and also tried to create a new account but it's still not working.

Other than that, I can't seem to get past the "Start free" on their website where they give me the code after I register my account for the confirmation. After typing the code, I get this error. I really want to play the game but this issue is pretty annoying.

Hey guys! I've been trying to do the crystal tower questline before heading into shadowbringers and I'm starting to get pretty disheartened. I've queued up for the alliance raid at peak hours and at most I'll be in queue for an hour with 2 other people in my group.

Is there something I'm missing or should I just give up on experiencing the alliance raids from ARR?

You can try queueing right after reset time (in about an hour and a half) and see if you have better luck, as well.

but its better to consistently play divination than always get 3 seal divination, so if you get unlucky with redraw, and end up with a 2 seal divination that's fine
