Okay, I don't understand the exact nuances yet, Vinyl but I'll say I attempted to pull groups two at a time, pause. Then continued.
Well, not even two groups for the most part, but one pull into a chain, then stop after second group is dead.
I generally didn't get any signs that I was going too fast, and everyone kept up fine.

The most likely explanation is that the quest wasn't selected earlier and after clicking on the description, despite giving the map error, it was then marked.
Which is not exactly a bug, but rather the way the map tracks single quests.

question about QTE - a lot of folks just abuse their keyboard to beat them but mine does that thing where any time you press a key it defaults to the chat box instead of registering the presses for the QTE. i play with controller plugged into my computer so usually i can just abuse my buttons instead and it's fine but in trials like SoS it's way too close for comfort and hurts the hell of my poor thumbs besides. any way to fix the problem with keysmash triggering chat? even if it's just something temporary i can set up when i know i'm going into the relevant fights and switch back afterwards.

Once you're level 10, you can talk to a job quest giver in their corresponding city. They'll give you a weapon and your first quest. Complete it and you're good to go.

Well, the easiest thank from what I have read is the WAR, so might be a good starting point
The best right now is GNB but just for dps, it actually has a weaker low CD mitigation so not as beginner friendly

You can perfectly learn whichever looks more fun to you, but as I mentioned, if you want to know the one that is the "easier" for a beginner I think it would be WAR
