When I was playing WoW, I had a set of macros for questing so I can braindead attack and keep myself buffed
@fringe whale If you want to use macros, there is a way to minimize the wasted time.
Using macros makes you wait entire seconds between actions, but you only need 2.5 seconds for each (w/o bonus stats). So you can put 1st action, then wait.5 , then 3rd action, and do the 2nd action manually. you'll only lose less than half a second because bonus stats that make each action to take less than 2.5, and you won't have to worry about the 3rd action.
Also you won't be able to start macro before last action finishes. But that maybe'll help you

Once you make a character on your Steam account, when you log in in future you should be prompted to choose which Service Account you want to log in with.

talk to Minfilia in the waking sands to get the quest "A Recurring Problem" which will have you talk to Urianger. Once you've done that, you should be able to pick up "Ifrit Bleeds, We Can Kill It". You need to complete the trial to unlock the next one, which is garuda. Once you've unlocked garuda, titan's quest will be available. All of these are at the waking sands

Here's how I see them
Craftmanship if melding more craftmanship doesn't change how your synthesis skills rotation, then just meld enough. Using a very crap example, my synthesis does 200, and the recipe needs 1000, then melding craftmanship and make my synthesis do 220 is useless, because I still to do 5 synthesis to finish recipe.
Obviously in practice you have many different synthesis skills to juggle, and it is never as clear cut as we want it to be.
Regarding Control and CP, they are not that different from craftmanship, but the summary is basically the more the merrier. Still the same logic though, if your CP is enough for you to do your crafting rotation with some leftover, melding or overmelding one or two more points ain't worth the trouble
