You're literally going to be gated by msq, no matter what because the story skip only skips up to stormblood max. You still have to progress thru ShB's msq before you can get the lvl 80 gear and content, even if your character is lvl 80

In "[Your User Folder]\Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\" there's a file named "FFXIV_BOOT.cfg". You can open it with a text editor, change the "StartupCompleted" to 1 and you should be able to skip the registration window to login window then try this
