you will always have to grab an orb of the opposite color. There is enough orbs for every party member to take a single orb in this fashion. Either you went to the wrong place, or you were too close to someone else when they took their orb, which also changes your color (it does a small AoE around them)
in which case you still have to take your (now same colored) orb, you just die in this case
but if you don't take it, it's a wipe

you will always have to grab an orb of the opposite color. There is enough orbs for every party member to take a single orb in this fashion. Either you went to the wrong place, or you were too close to someone else when they took their orb, which also changes your color (it does a small AoE around them)
