'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

@untold sand Everything is up to you, but a mini aetheryte outside so you can teleport to your house, and a repair NPC somewhere are both super helpful. Same with a summoning bell for retainer and maybe aesthetician

Does anyone know how to get a one time passcode? I was trying to try the trial. So i download from steam. It requires a passcode which i dont have and cant find in the emails. So i search in free time over the course of a week or so. Nothing. I finally found something about a device you can buy for $15. Which i dont want to do. Then found out you can use a smart phone app. But when i try to log into the app, it tells me my credentials ar wrong. I changed my password 5 times. to no avail. And even verified my DOB and handle. Nothing. It wont let me login. Then i find out you dont need a passcode for the free trial. And if youre seeing on, you didnt download the free tiral. So i verify that i downloaded the free trial. And i did. I attempt a re download and bam. It still wants a one time passcode. In the end i created like 4 square accounts trying to log in and play this game. and it has been the most frustrating experience of my life. I built a gaming pc. Im not a tech expert but i understand some basic functions of tech and this whole thing has me stumped.

The primary appeal of BLM is the big damage

Same for SAM

Except to get that big BLM damage, you have to know the ins and outs of every fight so you dont have to move much :p

blm is a turret

so, it needs to move only when it's able which is infrequently

to reach its proper capability

compounded by the fact messing up rotation as blm is one of the largest kneecaps to output of any job

Crafting has 3 stat:

• craftmanship (how much progress you make with synthesis actions)
• control (how much quality you add with touch actions)
• CP (crafting actions/buffs cost varying amount of CP, your total CP determines how many actions you can perform)

there's a few blu spells where having two is kinda redundant for most purposes

When you start a new craft, your CP is refilled to the max automatically.

Each craft has 4 things you need to consider:

• progress, using synthesis action add to progress, you must full the progress to complete a craft
• durability, using an action will reduce durability, if it reaches 0 and you didn't fill the progress, the craft will fail.
• quality, using touch action add quality, the higher the quality rating, the more likely your craft will produce an HQ item.
• condition, on occasion, you can receive good or excellent condition, these can boost all your touch action.
