You can turn on normal hotbars via the character config > hotbars then you can drag and drops skills onto it and have it somewhere visible
You can change how the hotbar looks so its not just a long hotbar, can be 6x2 or 3x4

As far as I know transfering or renaming does not change character id. Support might be able to change char id in cases of harassment but they are more likely to say report people first

I know it refreshes every couple hours, but its been like 8 hours and still hasn't refreshed. Nobody else in my server seems to be having this problem. I verified my character profile and everything.

For current even savage 490+ is recommended (more safety room) since augmented crafted is available but anything above 480 (minimum) works as long as youre very comfy with job will be learning in (dps wise and ability to perform mechanics)
