Consolewiki is notoriously out of date on a lot of stuff. I usually use ff14angler (aka cat became hungry). Also heard good things about http://ff14fish.carbuncleplushy.com/ I think but haven't used it much myself. And garlandtools is a pretty great repository for a bunch of info.
If you're going to go with a wiki for info I'd also recommend gamerescape over the one you're using

For silver shark what I used to do,and would mostly recommend, is fishing at cape watering westwind with any of the many baits that catch goby (or wahoo) and mooching for sharks https://en.ff14angler.com/spot/30106

MSQ will give you gear along the way, and you can also buy an ironworks weapon from revenant's toll with tomestones of poetics (ilvl 130) which is nearly as strong as a fully completed relic weapon after going through the many steps. With just a fraction of the effort

I've just stared playing, and something that's bothering me is an inability to wrap my head around the hotbar and macro stuff. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to ONLY display certain hotbars if certain buttons are held.
