There should be an arrow on your minimap pointing you in the right direction if you're in the correct zone.
And if you're not in the correct zone, you can open your Journal and click the "Map" button at the bottom left of the description window for the quest to see the zone and find the closest Aetheryte to teleport to, or figure out how the zones connect.

They have to move towards the tornados such that the tank is the closest so the tornado will aoe towards the tank and thus away from the middle of the arena. The healer needs to follow them so the chain doesn't break and make sure the tank doesn't die. DPS get chained together and depending on what strat you do you might do it a specific way but you just have to move together and make sure the green line aoes don't break a chain
Then 4 people get those aoes that need to be shared by at least one more person so you just spread around the boss for that
Then when those go off run behind the boss
If any of that makes sense
