Each relic is independent of the previous. Anima (60) you could trade in a 50 relic to skip first step but dont need to since crystal grind has been nerfed into the ground

Only the first step has been released.
Subsequent patches will introduce upgrade steps to increase the item level and also make the model fancier and glowier.

Yes, using the pet actions “place” to click a place for it to go, and “heel” for it to revert to following you
There’s also “stay” to make it stop following you and stand still but it’s not so required
You can select these buttons from the pet hotbar, or drag them onto your regular hotbars from where they’re located in Actions & Traits -> Pet

Now, I'd expect to see everyone's HP drop to 0 and then the fight restarts, but instead, I don't see any HP damage being taken. The fight just restarts. Just an FYI if anybody ever does overwrite files, what I do is back the original files up. I just add .bak to the end of the file name so I do not have to move it to another folder. Like that readme.txt, it would become readme.txt.bak

To find out what files you may have put in there, look at the date modified of those files and see what does not make sense. If it has today's date for instance, that is suspicious as nothing was added/updated today

One exception is the SRS Fenrir from Mogstation which goes at 1 star speed minimum at all times, but that's the speed you unlock through doing MSQ normally, so it's not a huge deal
