Craftmanship affect your synthesis and Progress. Therefore, if the current synthesis actions in your rotation can consistently finish the hardest recipe, there is no need to meld more craftmanship. Example (I am making this a spoiler to "shorten" the paragraph) ||if your synthesis does 151 everytime, and the hardest recipe is 450, then you need 3 to get it done. Melding a lil more craftmanship will push you to say... 165, and you still need do to it 3 times to finish the 450 progress recipe, this is when it is not necessary to meld more craftmanship||

Bane does not always seem to work. I start with miasma then bio, then use bane to spread it to all the other monsters in the group that we are fighting except 60% of the time, when I target another nearby monster, it does not have the same DoTs that I layed despite the fact that I used bane.
