@heady orbit After you do your level 10 class quest you can talk to other trainers to become a new class. Once unlocked from the trainer, you can swap from one class/job to another by simply changing your weapon.

im a tank too and it was horrid the first time.
i had no idea what was happening and felt like i was getting the squad murdered every time which i probably was.
but i read up on stacks and when to eat the fruit and to insta kill the eggs. and most importantly not to pull too many of the mobs. it went pretty smoothly the second time.

I've generally had super fast queues as healer, even if it's some other role in need; the "in need" isn't always super accurate and how long it takes the queue to pop always depends on a lot of seemingly random factors too. Sometimes you just get lucky that a bunch of people queue up at around the same time.
