Since they improved the free trial, Iโve returned to the game, but Iโm not very sure on where to start.
Last I played I was busy getting as many jobs as possible up to the level cap of 35 then, getting company seals etc and all the gear, weekly challenges of Gold Saucer, finished MSQ up to 35, etc...
Now Iโm logged in and not sure what to do (first?)? Should I just focus on advancing in the MSQ and get 1 job to 60 first, to get through all content, rather than waste too much time doing other farming and grinding things?

@fallow juniper It's kind of up to you. Optimally, you'll want to complete the MSQ (as much as you can on the trial, at least), then go back and level cap other jobs to 60 if you want. But practically speaking, you can play however you want.

In my experience on NA, the best timeslot to aim for is 5AM-7AM EST. However, for other DC's, it would likely be slightly different - likely the equivalent timeframe in local timezone. However with it being 5.3 release, it may be VERY hard to get in regardless for awhile.

Look at trial synth as "SE trying to make the tools available in-game without having to go to a 3rd party site" - its there for people who dont get informed about stuff. Teamcraft is and always will be superior.
