So last I played ffxiv was late 2014. The reason I quite was that you needed a currency with a weekly cap that took 10 weeks to get a full set to then head to the next dungeon/raid that had the same weekly cap. Which pretty much made it impossible to fully catch up to your friends until they hit max ilvl. Is this still the case?
