There is a free trial, with no time limit on it. It currently lets you play until level 35 (but you can play other things to 35 on the same character as well). On the 11th, that is being expanded to included the first expansion Heavensward and caps you at level 60. Once you buy the game, you will be off the trial and no longer able to play for free. Buying the game consists of either buying Starter + Shadowbringers, or Complete. Complete is generally the smarter way to do it. After you buy the game, you're looking at minimum $13 a month subscription fee.

First seed drop on second boss you will want to put them directly on dirt, not grass. The second one has a wind factor to it so you'll need to put a seed on a spot where it will blow onto the dirt squares.
Third boss, when he does his lunge attack, the cleave after will also burn furniture so make sure he's pointed away from any.
