@grave totem ah hah - you have NOT unlocked all the 24 mans. I knew something was gonna not add up. You are missing the 24 mans from ARR and Heavensward. The ARR ones (Crystal Tower series, starts with "Legacy of Allag" just outside of Rising Stones in Mor Dhona) are by far the most common ones that pop.

Hmm, tbh idk then. Ive never heard of alliance raids not being anything but a fast queue. Your language settings are correct, you have the stuff unlocked, and its not as if its "a weird time" in the EU currently.

@solid crypt technically yes - but keep in mind that 5.3 brings a new tier of crafter/gatherer gear. So setting up BiS melds right now might be unwise if you dont have them already.

Yes all damage bonuses apply to DoT's when applied. They dont update later though - i.e. if you put up Demolish and then gain damage buffs, it wont start ticking harder.

That's just completely incorrect, but i guess if you dont care about story that might be true. 2.3-2.55 in particular are not just significant setup for Heavensward, but also alot of information that's highly relevant to things in the future - particularly Shadowbringers.

How to get Dyeable Artifact Gear

A Realm Reborn i50/i55 set: Done in Mor Dhona by talking to Kakalan at x22, y6 after completing the quest 'Simply to Dye For' located at x22, y9. Augmenting a set of gear requires a total of 7 Augmentations matching the name of the set. Augmentations can be crafted or bought on the marketboard.

Heavensward i200 set: Done in Idyllshire by talking to Seika at x7, y7. The materials needed to augment the gear are buyable with Centurio Seals in Ishgard at the Forgotten Knight by talking to Ardolain in the 'Exchange Centurio Seals (Advanced)' option.

How do I unlock melding?

Complete Forging the Spirit (materia extract/npc melding) and Waking the Spirit (player melding) in Central Thanalan.

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.
