in any ways, you'll end up doing two things:
a) if you progress through MSQ fast, you'll get better gear and won't need to augment, so you'll spend poetics on gear for alts.
b) you'll level faster than the MSQ, so you'll end up choosing pieces for alts from the MSQ rewards.

Admittedly it's an odd question. You should always put on the highest level that the gear can take without wasting stats. So for level 80 gear it would be level 8 for regular, 7 for overmeld.

Would it be a good idea to leave my preferred world right now if I am no longer getting any boosts from it? I'm on Adamantoise and I find the world seems... Dead. Fates and Hunts are all totally empty. Residential districts are dead quiet and full of largely inactive owners. Interaction with other players just isn't a thing.

I'm wondering if it's because a preferred world just has too many new players leveling and playing very solo
