it might initially be a bit overwhelming since you get several skills thrown at you at once, but a good suggestion is to remove all skills from your hotbar and then read over their tooltip in the actions and traits menu as you add them back to your hotbar

leve quests require a leve allowance to pick up and do, they're like repeatable quests of sorts. generally not recommended for combat jobs, but are recommended for crafters and gatherers @limpid lantern

The other advice i'd give on keybinds, particularly if you want to play multiple jobs, is try to think of keybinds as more "this button means this type of action". For example, my basic 1-2-3 combo for all classes that have one is E - 4 - 3. My "gap closer" for every class that has one is on the same button. etc.

Habits like that will help you play multiple jobs effectively without having to remember as much

because the majority of people farm floors 51-60 - which you can start at once you clear 50 once

@white sierra I would suggest lvling up your current class to 80 before starting other ones. Unless you're still deciding which class you want to play, since you should focus on msq and it's better to play 1 class well then to dabble in each class and potentially burning yourself out. The other classes can wait and doesn't make much of a difference if you level them later.

What's the point of SCH's seraph consolation ability having 2 charges and a 30 second cooldown when seraph only lasts 22 seconds

You can use both charges in that 22s but it won’t be recharged by the time she leaves

and so that seraph isn't busted
