I'd recommend also joining the balance discord when you're more comfy with the game. It's an optimizing discord and while you might not need that stuff yet...it's still a good reference for rotations/guides etc.

If your internet is decent the lag isn't awful. I'm in NA (east coast) and have characters on all three regions. The lag is most noticeable on EU.

But it doesn't make the game unplayable. Just requires a bit more lead time on my actions.

@bright badger you get one point each time you complete a duty that has a first-timer in it, regardless if it’s undersized or not. So something you can do is grab all the quests for the level 50/60/70 dungeons/trials/raids and try to solo them for the points.

MCH is very damage focus and has just 1-2 support skill going on
BRD's songs (which they play at all time) grants a small patty buff.
DNC buff 1 partner at all time, and drop in a party buff once in a while.

In terms of what is difficult, Machinist rotation has no RNG to deal with.

Odd numbered patches, like the one coming next month, do not increase item levels for combat gear. Just add more avenues to get it. Even numbered patches increase combat gear ilvl by increments of 30 although expansion releases increase by 60.

I have 3 hotbars for battle, one for RP, one for out of combat stuff (return, teleport, wondrous tails, currency, food etc), one for mounts/minions, and one for "healer use stone 2" and such macros, plus lucid dreaming/tank stance

The first unlock (excluding ShB zones) comes from completing the MSQ for that zone. The second unlock comes from Hunt tokens. For ShB zones, the first and only unlock comes from Bicolor Gemstones (from ShB FATEs)

you need to get to the hyperconductive stage to start being able to buy the replicas for anima, after that you simply need to complete the appropriate stage to buy the appropriate replica @woeful nacelle
