I haven't done the Crystarium content or the DoH quests to get Manipulation so I'm thinking my plan is:
- DoH Questing up to Manipulation
- DoL + DoH levelling in Ishgard Restoration
- Stop somewhere in the 70s for Crystarium DoH quests that people were telling me had really good exp. (Where would be a suggested stopping point here?)
- Max DoL and DoH through some more Ishgard

yeah. data analysis is a whole different monster though. If someone has a lower rDPS it doesnt always mean they play badly. becareful about that. I encourage you to look at aDPS to gauge jobs like DNC/BRD/AST's performance
oh and those percentiles numbers shown with your logs are irrelevent cuz your gear dont worry about that, just use your raw number and compare them to beginning values of the graph i linked you

Assuming you're still within your 90 day window/your server is still preferred, the road to 70 buff will turn back on whenever you're on a job below 70 @leaden ginkgo

The lower framerate is, if I'm not mistaken, simply an artifact of the borderless windowed mode. I don't know for certain since I play on PS4, but I seem to recall a similar issue with WoW.

I think borderless window mode tends to have that issue. But what I googled, you might wanna go to folder with FFXIV, right click the exe and go to properties and "disable fullscreen optimization". The trick I use to prevent extreme boredom with patch content is to usually just grab all the quests, complete them to the point where it says I need to do the instance, then sit on them and only do them through daily roulettes.

Leveling crafting isn't actually terrible. You can push a lot of levels early on with the Ixal beast tribe, and use Ishgard Restoration once you can make collectibles over the minimum rating.
It goes pretty quickly.

If you go into the Travel menu you can view your speed per zone.
Riding maps can be purchased using Hunt currency from the Hunt clan vendors.

Doesn't matter since PotD has the independent leveling system, so everyone starts at 1 and works up. You'll have plenty of time to get the hang of it.
But you can always read your ability tooltips first, and set up your hotbars with your future skills.
