You'd have to create a new account for the region to change. So if your key isn't working with that account, you must have an EU key. Which means you could probably turn off the VPN, create a new account in Australia, and then use the key there.

Though no clue how that would affect any future purchases when you go back to Argentina. ... You'd probably run into problems and have to use VPNs or something

Arcanist, which starts out as dps, at level 30 has access to two jobs. Scholar (healer) and Summoner (dps)

the 3rd healer, Astrologian, is locked behind the 1st expansion, Heavensward, main scenario quest so its not an option until later

@fresh sparrow You can turn pretty much anything into crystal sand. GC seals? Buy moonstones. Poetics? Buy unidentified crap. ARR ex trials? Turn in the drops. Alliance raids? Two tiers (void ark and crysta tower) grant turnable items.

I personally recommend custom deliveries if you've got a 50+ crafter or gatherer. You get a truckload of scrips for custom deliveries and you can spend those on tokens. I still have like 50 left over from my previous anima.

My standard tactics is marking tank with chain 1, DPS #1 with mark 1, healer with chain 2, DPS #2 with mark 2. Also mark a spot on the map, between two plates. Place another mark as a designated orb dump.

With the first set of plates glow, send mark 1 and mark 2, the two DPSes to step on them.

Second set of plates, mark 1 glues to chain 1 and mark 2 glues to chain 2. Start from waysign and each group takes half the map.

Third set of plates, both DPS glue themselves to chain 1 aka the tank and take all plates while healer heals.

Also you probably will have fast queues on BLM anyway

24 man raids tend to favor DPS in the queues, or at least have them be about equal with healer.

Tanks are the ones who get hosed for those queues

That said, the HW 24-man line will probably have the worst queues of all of them

Since there's basically no driving motivation for people who didnt play during HW to unlock them

You can also use simulator and it counts do you have enough CP for it.

@summer stirrup If you want to get into crafting, I recommend starting with Culinarian. It's very self sufficient and not very dependent on other crafters, so you're not required to level all crafters. Also I recommend picking up botany to farm your own crafting materials. Without gathering, crafting can get really pricy.

How do I unlock melding?

Complete Forging the Spirit (materia extract/npc melding) and Waking the Spirit (player melding) in Central Thanalan.

How can I get my gear melded?

To meld visible Materia slots a NPC melder in any major city will do (marked with a Blue Materia icon on the map). To overmeld gear you'll need to request another player to meld your gear or to do it yourself.

Why can't I meld this Materia to my stuff?

Every Tier of Materia has a minimum item level requirement that gear must meet to allow melding of that Tier. Tier 6 Materia requires an item level of 290 while Tiers 7 and 8 require an item level of 420.

Why is my meld giving +0 stats?

Every item has a maximum amount of stats that can be given through melding and the natural stats found on the gear. This can be seen at the bottom of the Materia Melding menu, as seen in the picture below.

The secondary stat with a higher number is already at the cap and cannot be further melded.
