@reef frigate imho guilds with less ppl are better, they help more and feel more like a family than guilds with loads of ppl, those feel like a community rather than a family and you will most likely leave those type of guilds

hmm I mean like, what would you want from a guide? Hotbar customization is a pretty personal thing, put what you want where it makes the most sense to you and is easiest for you. It's not a thing with a lot of depth or whatever, relatively straightforward. Is there anything in particular that you're struggling with?

you can like, rebind all the keys around wasd pretty easily if you want to hotbar slots, which are real easy to press while moving without any additional strain. Can also consider modifiers like shift, control, alt, or any combination of them, for additional keybinds

you would most likely greatly appreciate the legacy control scheme, since movement is like controller
up at the top, you can change between standard and legacy. Standard is a bit more tank controls, your character turns as you move your camera, pressing S will cause your character to backpedal. Legacy, if you press a direction you move in that direction, and you can turn your camera completely independently as desired

the only particular benefit standard has over legacy is ease of handling gazes. Movement-wise legacy is actually a bit simpler than standard. Since you don't have to worry about avoiding backwalking/having to strafe

Playstyle wise:
Bard rotate through 3 different songs, and each of them allows you to do certain skill when they proc. You maintain DoT damage on your target, and do filler attacks while handling the song procs.
Dancer has a lot of RNG in their combo. Your single target 2 step combo can proc 2 other attacks, and using these 2 procs can sometimes give you Feather, which is a resource to perform additional offensive abilities, but the whole thing ties together rather neatly

you'll do fine as sch in normal mode raids as a new player if you're worried about that, and since you have a co-healer, not every single raid AoE or damage is supposed to be your responsibility to heal up

I try to Succor the party before boss fights, then I place sacred soil on my tank while the have the bosses attention. Then after that, when they start getting too low, I Aldo my tank, and while they're taking reduced damage, I try to lustrate and then ET Adlo.

Sacred Soil has come in handy for me, and I try to space out my charges till Aetherflow refreshes. I like to always have something to use, something prepared.

Collectability replaces Quality 1:1. To put it simply, raise quality as high as you can to reach at least the minimum score, then give the crafted item to the turn in counter to get exp and scrips.

basically you need to manage the durability of the object you are crafting while simultaneously increasing the quality bar to make it higher quality and more "collectable"

@leaden ginkgo neither are particularly hard. The first one requires ranking up the kobold beast tribe, which is super easy just takes a bit of time. Boreas requires farming shiva extreme until you get the mount drop, which is RNG but a pretty fast, easy farm since you can do it unsynced (even solo if you want). But if you get unlucky then it could still take a while to drop, even with decent drop rates

You use synthesis skills to increase the progress of a craft to actually finish crafting the item, while you use Touch skills to increase the Quality, which decides the chance of the end result becoming High Quality.
Synthesis and Touch skills also take away durability from the craft, which is like the Craft's HP. If it hits 0 you fail the craft (unless you also filled up the progress bar right when it hit 0) and usually lose the materials that were used in the craft. You get skills to mitigate this by either directly restoring Durability or by reducing how much durability Synthesis/Touch skills take away.

I took every crafting class to 71 using Ishgardian Restoration. The only gear i used was the level 50 tool rewards, level 51 vendor gear, and set of level 61 vendor gear. Had no issues getting to 71. and then i crafted a full set of 71 HQ gear for myself which lasted me until 80 and was good enough to make a full set of 80 HQ gear. Any difficulty you're having is either because your gear is even further behind than that, or you're not using the correct abilities.

Well, either way. 589 isnt very hard to hit on-level even. Food can help if you're short on stuff like that.
But regardless of that, its not really worth wasting time on crafter quests 50-66 (though you can just power through to 71 without manip too...) until you're 66/71. Just keep plowing Ishgardian Restoration.
