Like for ARR relics you can do Books and the quests for the Zeta relic that usually come later at the same time

clear a dungeon once to tick it off 2 things at the same time

But first time around you gotta wait

And Anima, there's some materials you can only buy with Poetics once you get there, but if you've already done one, you can buy everything in advance

#

For Eureka, after you've already levelled to 60 you've got the hard part done and other relics are a LOT faster since all you gotta do is farm the materials

later on when you get bahamut are you gonna get a trait where you gain something called further ruin. each Egi assult adds 1 and makes your ruin 2 into ruin 4. You are gonna wanna spend those when you summon bahamut for the most damage. aside from that. not really.

It kinda feels like right now that GC was made for when it was just ARR and isn't balanced for new players coming in today with EXP boosts to get to the xpacs. Right now I am already leveled past all the gear I see unavailable to me in the seal exchange menu (they seem to cap at 50 unless I missed something and I'm level 54). @leaden ginkgo once you unlock the hunt from your gc, you can pick up bills that tell you to go kill enemies, and when you kill those enemies you get hunt currency

there are also A and S rank hunts that arent on bills that give you more currency

hunt currencies are earned from hunting special marked targets. @leaden ginkgo there are daily/weekly hunt bills from your GC quartermaster, as well as other npcs in later expansions. there are also non-bill marked A and S rank hunts that award more

How do shields and damage reductions interact in conjunction? example (AST nocturnal POV) :
My tank is about to get hit with a tank buster, I use aBenefic (flat shield value) and CU (10% dmg reduction)
Does the game take away the shield first, then apply the 10% reduction? Or the other way around?
