Yeah stuff in separate expansions don't really tend to be connected to each other. It's pretty rare. 99% of them is just "finish MSQ"

The only raid that I would say is fair to skip is the ARR 8-man raid since it's built as hard content with no easy normal mode but you should easily be able to find a party to do it at a higher level and carry you so you should still do it tbh if you can @silk onyx I just wouldn't go really out of your way for it if you can't get a party

Knock back immunities is chance based? Like, there is a chance you are getting knocked back even if you have it on? Many times I have been knocked back even when the knock buck immunity buff is on (I know that some attacks don’t work with knock back immunity, this is not one of them, cause sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t)

Kind of a silly question (first time playing FFXIV and MMORPGs in general), but I've read about a few of the servers on Aether, Crystal, and Primal typically being congested and rarely available for new characters to be created on. So while Gilgamesh, Balmung, and Leviathan were available, I created a character on all three of those servers. Right now, I will probably stick around in Balmung to level my character and eventually make my way around to the other two characters in the other two servers. My question is, will my characters still be available on Gilgamesh and Leviathan or will I lose my spot (so to say) for inactivity?

Which server you play on doesnt really matter that much. Which data center you pick makes much more difference.
In fact, i would strongly advise that unless you have a compelling reason to do otherwise, select one of the preferred servers

Is there a difference between the three data centers? I picked those three just because they were centralized in North America (I believe), so I wanted to have a character in all three of those data centers within the higher populated servers respectively. None of them are preferred, but I could always make an additional character in a preferred server. I think the only benefit in preferred server is the additional EXP boost prior to becoming level 70?
