It's just that I've consistently noticed that when I'm meant to kill something, I do nearly no damage and it expects you to kill it in a certain time limit and I don't even come close. I just noticed a pattern that ever since early levels I would consistently fail and have to retry on very easy

And see if that’s there and the name of the lowest quest on the list
Then I think your only option is getting a full party of 4 and using the pre-made queue option for mahjong

There is. I used to do that with the pet hotbar on SMN before the pet changes. Anyway, go to the HUD Layout screen to toggle the standard hotbars. I think it's Triangle to turn them off/on?
Then just open up your Actions and Traits window and drag the skills you want onto the extra bar. If you don't have a USB mouse handy, you'll have to turn on the virtual mouse by holding L1 and clicking the right stick.
