Hi, I had a question about chocobo training in the stables at houses. My free company has a stable and I just finally got my chocobo. I attempted training my chocobo and it looked like it might have done something, but I'm not entirely sure. Do I need to keep my chocobo in the stable for training to effect it, or can I take it with me right away?

@molten temple If you've fed it a krakka root (carrot shaped food) then you can take it right back out. If you're changing its color with fruits, then yeah, you have to wait for six hours.

@earnest summit you won't be able to start as scholar right away, it upgrades from the arcanist base class. but this is also a really good idea still because marauder (warriors base class) and arcanist (scholar/summoner base) both start in the same starting city

I've been a bit turned off of Astrologian for Shadowbringers due to the card changes making it more annoying for controller players to quickly and efficiently use cards without clipping your GCD

@tulip plover Demolish is a DoT skill and not a damage buff. It does give you a Greased Lightning stack however so that icon will light up. As for the DoT effect, it's a tiny version of the skill icon in the enemies debuff list (under their HP bar by default).

Ninja's Ninjutsu, imo, is very satisfying to use

First you have a bunch of patch quests that finish up the base game story, build the world and then set up the Heavensward plot
But a lot of the stuff that is introduced in the base game keeps going through up to and including Shadowbringers

Worlds with the "preferred" status give massive exp bonus to characters created there.
Crafting and gathering classes are totally optional.
After level 16 (and also caught up to level 16 main story quests) you have access to daily duty roulettes
which are a huge exp chunk
if you want supplemental stuff.

If you're done with MSQ and leveling a second job, the go-to methods for leveling are:
First do daily roulettes!
then spam highest-level leveling dungeon, or go to Palace of the Dead/Heaven-on-High if you're a DPS and want to bypass long queue times. You also have the hunting log at very low levels, daily beast tribe quests, daily hunt bills, and FATEs if all else fails.
Sidequests are not very useful as a source of exp; nor are Battlecraft Levequests.
Do make sure to do blue quests though:

Some enemies will aggro you based on "sound" - which means that if you get anywhere near them, if you are moving above RP-walk speed, they will aggro. Other enemies only aggro based on sight, which means that you can run directly past them as long as they arent facing you.
And some enemies, amusingly, are literally blind and only have sound as an aggro

unsync is only viable if you overlevel the dungeon by a lot. With three players you'd still need a bit of overleveling.

The only possible reason I can think of for a group of 3 to unsync would be if you wanted to go with an odd comp, like 1 tank, 3dps (do not recommend if you are at or near level). As long as you're not outside the parameters of a standard group (1 tank, 1 heal, 2 dps), there's no reason to unsync.
