Basically you get a set of actions including a toggleable buff called Collector’s Glove. You turn that on and gather items at certain nodes to open the collectable interface
Then you use these certain “appraisal” skills in order to increase a collectibility bar above a certain threshold so that you can turn the resulting item into a collectible exchange NPC for exp and other treats.

like in general
in FFXIV, this translates to GCDs you press in a sequence
like, 1 - 2 - 3
for dancer, you have two main combos, one Single Target, one AoE
For Dancer, you always go Cascade into Fountain
So when you press Cascade, it'll activate Fountain as a Combo Action
pressing Fountain when it's lit up with a yellow border will give you everything listed with Combo X
so Fountain by itself only delivers a potency of 100 as an attack
but pressing Fountain after Cascade delivers an attack with a potency of 300, as well as a chance to get Flourishing Fountain to proc
the same thing applies for the AoE skills
