the fights are difficult and take a lot of time to learn, especially for new/casual players, it's not like normal mode where you queue in with randoms and you're done in 20 minutes

The icons aren't specific to hunt marks. The hunt marks just tend to be marked as more difficult.

For squadrons, you have to retrain them into different stat sets as needed for whatever mission you want them to do. There isnât really a singular âbestâ way to allocate them.

The moogle tome events are generally run as further incentive to participate in older content. Just run the dungeons/trials with the moogle icon next to them and youâll get the tomes after the run ends.

Check the Balance discord @odd tulip I suggest learning the proper rotation and making it muscle memory. You save yourself a lot of work at 80 since you already know roughly where the timings and buff windows are

yes you get your xp in a lump after 10 floors
the best way to do it is to queue for floors 51-60. but you need to get there first
so queue for the first 10 floors and slowly work your way up. you can go in solo but its not reccomended for new players

Hello, so Iâm about 2 days into ff14... Iâm coming from ESO which imo I have a lot of knowledge about... Iâll say that Iâm a bit lost right now in ff14... Iâm lvl 12 conjuror looking to go into white mate... Iâve always been better at support roles... can anyone tel me if white mage is the right way to go as far as being a healer and also what I should be focusing on right now as a new player

White Mage is a pure healer. Astrologian or Dancer are the closest to traditional support classes, I would say. However even those still stay within their roles as healer and ranged physical dps, respectively.

So basically I know in ESO itâs hard to find a good trial group if you arenât set for utility... my main goal in ff14 is also to eventually run end game content... is astrologian the most coveted healer/support role?

I will say, currently in terms of player population
its DPS > tank > healers
so just playing ANY healer will usually get you easily into end game content
