@sage gyro The items the guide suggests for stockpiling are intended for leveling associated crafters. The crafting/gathering system is rather extensive and largely interconnected. It's possible, and after recent changes no longer as difficult, to get by with just one but even now there are places where you're almost intended to level all at once.

Using glamour prism, you make a target gear look like the source
The process only use up the prism
It won't destroy the source, it will however spirit bond the source to you so you cannot use a gear for glamour then resell it in market board
