So really the only thing that really matters is data center for content clearing. The only thing server really changes is whether or not you get the really good preferred server bonus, what FCs you can join since they are still server specific, and some other minor stuff

When you hit level 70 it stops applying for that job but if you were to switch to one below 70 you'd get it again

It only "runs out" on whatever hits 70, everything else will have it for 90 days or the server stops bekng preferred, whichever lasts longer

They're both in the same physical location of Frankfurt(?) Germany.
Chaos lends a bit more towards french people with Moogle being the Unofficial French Server, with Light having Shiva as the unofficial German server.
But you'll still find plenty of english speakers on both datacenters

Selling items on the market board is different than selling to a vendor. The Market board is the player market, so other players may or may not choose to purchase the item(s) you put up for sale, and the resulting income is stored by your retainer until you choose to collect it.
Your other option, at least for the green, pink, blue, and some of the HQ items, would be to trade it in to your Grand Company (Supply and Provisioning Missions) for seals.

Vendor the stuff you can buy back from vendors on the cheap. Put anything you're keeping for glamour in the glamour dresser/armoire. Trade stuff you don't care about for GC seals or at doman enclave.

Once you learn how each fight flows, you'll be able to prioritize healing when it's needed, and dps when it's not.

You only need to save it once.
Once a customization is saved, it's always saved unless you overwrite the save slot.
I'm not sure what your problem is.
So I can't give you any more information than I already have.
That won't change your existing retainer's appearance, if that's your concern.
Otherwise, the only way to re-save the appearance would be to either create a new retainer with the same appearance, or create a new player character with the same appearance, and save it in a new slot.
You could then subsequently delete the character or retainer, but the customization will remain in your list of saved character appearances if you ever want to use it again.
I'm not sure why you need to do this, since saved custom appearances have no impact on anything. They're basically just a shortcut for future character/retainer creation.
