You can then choose to link the plate to gearset

And as long as you swap gearset inside cities, the plate will automatically apply the glamour onto your armors

This is nice for players that share gears but doesn't want to share glamour

Say I dyed a hat red. Now everytime I make a new plate with this hat, the plate will copy the red. However, if I dye one of the plate's hat with silver dye, then the silver only exists within the plate

As for owning a controller, idk, a lot of games are more easily played with them in general so may be a good investment anyway.

I'm not saying it's ideal, but if it were a solution to the problem you weren't aware of I thought I should point it out. Particularly because it was possible you assumed the controller setup for FF wasn't any good due to being an MMO (it is good).

And just in case; by "expand USB space" I don't neccesarily mean manually changeing the computer inside it's case- there are USB multi-adapters that should help that scenario, I've used one before.

The issue is accessibility is just a very new thing and XIV has limits on what it can do to help players who needed this (without affecting their gameplay performance)

I use left and right or press x for enemies but most of the time it just targets one of my allies instead
