so uhh, i set up my primary crossbar and I toggled my extra left and right crossbars. I am unable to set any abilities onto them! I can activate them by using the triggers (I adjusted the speed of it) but that's really it. I can't drag and drop anything there. I also noticed that my primary crossbar goes from 1,2 to 8 (skips inbetween). not sure if that's important

You have to swap to the respective hotbar and set the abilities there
In the settings you can see what hotbar the double tap opens and change it

they have different playstyles
ninja is really only busy in trick attack windows, so it ebbs and flows a tad
monk's entire gcd combo is available for you to practice much earlier, it only seems overwhelming if you aren't used to all the positionals and the flow order of the skills

and it will unlock most of the trials/dungeons related to ARR
for the moment we have no way to replay ARR yet
