hey all. i'm fairly new and am inclined to play a healer. i tried to find up-to-date information about the healers, their relative strength, and how fun they are to play (i know that's subjective) and eventually settled on astro. i'm at lvl 60 now, but i don't find the card system as fun as i originally read it to be since they dumbed it down for this expansion. does astro open up and become more engaging? which healer do you prefer to have in party?

i think that later on all astro does gain a couple more interesting tools

The only real way to screw yourself over is to have duplicates in your party in higher end content

Don't forget that jobs with relatively lower personal Dps makes it up with party tools

And even once you hit the very end game, you still do low level content a decent amount from what I understand

@dusk zenith lightning surge is from getting killed by the add. The tank who is supposed to keep the add has to make sure to maintain more stacks than anyone else in the party, if you happen to have one orb but everyone else also only has one orb, then the add's just gonna go to the closest party member and murder them. Of course, if you happen to have more than one orb stack, that's also problematic and the tank has to adjust for it

The current recommendation is do the Heavensward stuff to max level
For low level, you should be able to get your crafters to lvl 15 ish by just doing all the recipes once to get the first time bonus
The materials required for those recipes can be purchased from NPC on your crafting guilds
