In terms of Hades specifically? It actually only happens like twice if you don't use immunities. Once if you got good damage.
There's also the double ascian phase, that will definitely need a swap for when they switch elements.

Also, if you do just old content synced, you might not learn the max-lvl rotation for your job optimally, since you would be then too used to doing old rotation, and might affect newer content

Info

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly in the expansion zones. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

hello, when I play ffxiv it doesn't show up in the game activity tab on discord, all other games do show up except ffxiv, the launcher does show up but when i start the game it's not in the game activity anymore on discord, anyone has a solution to this?

Oh right on! I got this game at launch got to like 30 and it was epic fails. then the redid the whole game so my chars are gone.. so i made a new trial account to see whats up.
