@polar cairn for Diadem, your botanist needs to also have a 60+ DoW/DoM associated with it, as you have to finish quest "Litany of Peace" (end of the Dragonsong War arc), then check a sign on a wall near the Foundation aetheryte for quest "Towards the Firmament".
Stockpiling gil is a worthy endeavor, but you'll find choco porters are pretty cheap to use. And if you're only six levels out, you won't need them for very long. Could probably replace the fees with a single roulette guildhest or somethin' along those lines.
