go into the menu to list an item for sale with them, then instead of adding from your inventory, move over to the listing in the other window and select it

@hollow nimbus if you wanna optimize your exp, i'd say main quest + hunting logs. then daily roulette should be enough to keep you at the level for each MSQ. also make sure you do any sidequest with a blue icon with a + on it, as it unlocks content & features

Heyo o/ Just did the ifrit trial as dps where the Warrior didnt activate his tank stance so the DPS's kept getting enmity. I told him to activate it cuz I thought he just forgot to activate it but he didnt react to that at all and after a wipe I wanted to explain it to him but without waiting he just ran in again at which point I realized he doesnt read chat so I explained the fight to the other DPS and Heal until we finished it without the tank pretty much. Is there a way to deal with such people cuz afaik I get like a 30 minute penalty if I leave right? I dont mind wipes but this tank was not reading chat or changing what he was nothing whatsoever and if Ifrit wasnt such an easy trial it would've probably not ended until everyone left

gear does not get synced up, gear only gets synced down
so if you have low level/ilvl gear it does not improve in an instance, and will still be bad gear. It's only if you have higher level/ilvl gear that it gets synced down to be reasonable for the instance

yeah most things aren't especially directly stated for physical/magic. But Shey has the right of it, ninjutsu are magic other than fuma
@hollow nimbus the only especially useful reason to get the expansions ahead of time is being able to create an au ra or hrothgar character, or unlocking SAM/RDM at level 50. Past that, there's not a whole lot of advantage unless you can get the bundle for cheaper than getting them separately, and were planning to get the expansions regardless

personally, the way i do it is i get my WAR (main) cap first, then i do the other tanks since they use the same equipment and it allows to save armory chest space. then i switch to another role, level all jobs of that role and so on..

Just be aware of two things. The guides can have spoilers, such as "___ is the final boss". And second, strats sometimes change after the guide was created due to content getting old or the guides being cranked out asap.
