Guys, I have a question. So this game’s storyline is imo 10/10, it’s worth it for the story alone at least for me. Great so my issue is, I’m already done with stormblood and level 72, it won’t take long before I’m done with the entire storyline, and I started playing 6 days ago. Is that it? Is that the catch of the game? The wonders of the writing in its story? I wanna hear someone say “the game starts at lv 80” and I’ll be happy, because I’m afraid to find the end of the journey and not put into use the rewards I have gotten on my way to the finish line.
Again, if the game was just the storyline, I still find my money was worth it... but I of course want this game to last me years of gameplay in the form of an endgame, and not just sit down and wait for the next story to be released.

There's more story and content at 80. If you played through in 6 days I'm guessing you didn't do the alliance raids and normal raids for ARR, HW, and SB which all also have stories. There's also class/job stories.

I didn't notice either of the other responses mention it for you @leaden ginkgo , but every major patch adds about 10 more MSQ quests to the story as well. So there's always something to look forward to even if you're just interested in the main story.

Yeah I was only doing MSQ strictly, I was skipping the cutscenes the first 50 quests from the first expansion even, untill I got hooked on it

For instance, I have fully augmented Scaevan gear (or whatever it’s called). For a total of 399. I’m sure that it is enough for MSQ but would that be enough to grind the lv 80 content outside of MSQ?

actually that's not enough for the MSQ because the level 80 dungeon requires like, 410-420 but you get free 430 gear from a required side quest chain

To move them, you'll need to go into the HUD editor and find the correct HUD element.

Basically, they appear when you encounter a new game system.
At first, obviously you'll have a lot because the game is assuming that not only have you never played an MMO before, but that you've never played a video game before.

The "Recommended" function will always select your highest ilevel pieces that can be equipped.
Sometimes, if you're going from a piece that doesn't allow for head gear (like a robe) or foot gear (like some of the tank legs), your individual piece defense numbers will go down.

Go to your Actions & Traits window (default hotkey P) and look on the General page. Near the top-left will be a limit break button. You can right-click it there or drag it to a hotbar.
