You can get all jobs at once. You unlock them either as their base class if they’re from the base game or as a job if they’re an expansion job.

but astro/drk/rdm/blm/gnb/etc are dlc classes and you need to be at a certain level to grab them

Basically, you start a leve, look for a coffer and open it, and then abandon and restart it.

on jobs that have base classes, you gain base class exp, and the jobs are just extensions of the base class. In the case of summoner/scholar, they both share arcanist as the base class. When you get exp/levels, you get arcanist exp/levels, so that's why they share the same level

the short version is, when it comes to leveling alt jobs:

Roulette MSQ, Leveling, and alliance give good exp, trials/raid roulette is decent
highest level dungeon you can queue into, but not lvl 50/60/70 dungeons (they were the endgame dungeons of their respective expansions, so their exp is no good)
POTD/HOH only if 1 and 2 has way worse queue time

magic DPS: circle AOE
melee DPS: single target
ranged DPS: line AOE

if you're really far back for some reason you might be outranging healing, and there's a few raidwide damage hits that might end up getting you. Otherwise if nobody uses the snares on the dragon he'll just kinda wipe the party, too

lvl 45 class quest give some of your job gear (item level 50, i think), lvl 50 class quest give you the rest of your i50 + a box with upgraded version (same model, but at item level 90, so more powerful)

the short version is, when it comes to leveling alt jobs:

Roulette: MSQ, Leveling, and alliance give good exp, trials/raid roulette is decent
highest level dungeon you can queue into, but not lvl 50/60/70 dungeons (they were the endgame dungeons of their respective expansions, so their exp is no good)
POTD/HOH, only if 1 and 2 has way worse queue time

Not even just the email thing either, but remembering the username and such as well. If you've forgotten the username for example it can be difficult to find it again in my experience (or more difficult then it should be imo, anyway)
