@leaden ginkgo there isnt one specific materia for gatherers. You're going to need them all to certain points
like for lvl 80 getting 800 gp, enough gathering to have 100 gathering rate on nodes

IIRC grade V and under materia has a 100% removal chance so if you have materia you might as well use it but otherwise it's not a big deal

When the first meteor touched down and is tanked by a tank, that location will spawn a tear in spacetime, you want to kill it fast to open up the tear and send your party member back
Meanwhile, the two tanks (with extended defense buff) should run around and tank the meteors

For tank LB, it's basically only used to cheese mechanics or if the fight specifically requires it
Otherwise, it's the job of DPS to use them. Melee DPS if it's a boss or ranged/caster DPS if it's to clear a large pull/adds.

Pre-lvl 72, 1 DWT generate 1 Aether, so you need 2 DWT to do 1 Bahamut. after level 72, 1 DWT will generate 2 Aether, therefore, you can always summon Bahamut after each DWT

Then give you Dreadwyrm Aether
Then you can summon Bahamut right away (but you can delay, we will do this part)
At level 72+, Once you summon Bahamut, and are done with him, your DWT will transform into Firebird Trance (still on the same cooldown), so if your DWT was 25s away, then it will become a Firebird Trance with 25s away from ready

I think it was bugged or something, basically i was required to do a doublestandard step , after i used Single step , only Cascade's icon was lightened up, but after i cast Cascade either '' Piroueltte / Jete'' should have lightened up for me to cast double standard step but they werent

guys, I levelled my retainers to 28 already and starting to do quick ventures. At the moment they have 1lvl gear or no gear, just low lvl weapon. Does gear matter before they hit like level 40-50 for quick ventures or not really in terms of what they bring back? When doing 18h ventures I get notification that ilvl is too low but not quick ventures... Thanks

What you brought back is probably determined by what your retainer has on them

For quick ventures gear doesn't matter. Only level affects it, higher level having a higher chance of bringing back rare stuff. Gear matters for the other ventures though.

Basic rule of thumb when choosing rewards: If it has Tenacity/Vitality, it's tank gear. Mind/Piety = Healer. Int = caster dps. Dex = NIN and phys ranged dps. Strength = melee dps

the post patch msq exp is not significant, but the leveling portions of the expansions do give good exp
