No the thing is I -want- them to be local only. But everytime I change them on one system, it adjusts them on the other. Like on PC is a 4K laptop, so I run it at 200% UI scale, 30 point font for the chat window, etc.
And the other system is a 2560x1440 32".
So it runs at 100% UI scale and 18 point font.

I've reached 80 in BTN and 71 in MIN but can only seem to do collectables on BTN. I've gone back to the person who gave me/opened the option to farm for collectables as a BTN but when I try with MIN it will tell me "Can't do this action on that job"

If you want to do it coils is actually a difficult raid series synced at level 50 so most people who do it do it unsynced at level 80 which trivialises a lot of the fights.
If you want to do them I'd make a party finder party to do it unsynced and say something like "first time bonus and watching cutscenes"

You should be able to upgrade to steam version from the FFXIV non-steam free trial when you buy the game through Steam. The reason the steam free trial isn't working is because the free trial you have right now is non-stema
