Sam was introduced in stormblood, zodiac was a realm reborn's relic and anima was heavensward

The main reason why it's a grey area is because while the self improvement of your class is a good idea, some people unfortunately take it to an extreme and you get things like "My parser says your DPS is garbage gtfo noob" causing toxicity. It's a somewhat unfortunate state of affairs.
