"levekits" are what people sell, they're just selling the items to get from X level to Y level

Crafter levekits just involve you paying someone to give you a shitton of crafted materials you use to turn in

hello guys, so im trying to play trial, but got a problem, in order to do that i need to download an extra exe file just for trials called "ffxivsetup_ft.exe" to be able to download it i need to register on website, so i did it and registered there. after launching this APP i need to register AGAIN with NEW email or i can login using my 1st login data, but there is required one time password which is provided only to those who already have activated game. How to get Dyeable Artifact Gear

A Realm Reborn i50/i55 set: Done in Mor Dhona by talking to Kakalan at x22, y6 after completing the quest 'Simply to Dye For' located at x22, y9. Augmenting a set of gear requires a total of 7 Augmentations matching the name of the set. Augmentations can be crafted or bought on the marketboard.

Heavensward i200 set: Done in Idyllshire by talking to Seika at x7, y7. The materials needed to augment the gear are buyable with Centurio Seals in Ishgard at the Forgotten Knight by talking to Ardolain in the 'Exchange Centurio Seals (Advanced)' option.

Stormblood i290 set: Done in Eureka Anemos by exchanging Protean and Anemos Crystals with Gerolt to upgrade the set. Eureka is unlocked in Rhalgr's Reach with the quest 'And We Shall Call It Eureka' and is accessed in Kugane by talking to Rodney at x9, y14.

Shadowbringers i430 set: Obtained from Idealized coffers in the trial Memoria Misera (Extreme). They can also be bought with High Legatus Idols obtained from the trial in Mor Dhona by talking to C'intana.

Hey there! Recently returned player here. I am having a question regarding trial unlocks that google refuses to answer, so maybe some of you brilliant people can help me out. So I brought my BLU to 50 and am now trying to pick up some spells, namely from the Dragon's Neck Trial which... does not show up in my duty finder.

I read that unlocking the Dragon's Neck is part of a quest chain that starts with an NPC in Ul'Dah but said NPC is not showing up for me. It is entirely possibly that I unlocked this previous to my long FFXIV hiatus but I have forgotten most of what happened "back then". Yet then the Trial would show up in my Duty Finder, wouldn't it?

well, on certain gear that doesn't have the line "advanced materia melding forbidden" (which is basically just crafted gear), it allows you to meld past the visible slots, up to a maximum of 5 melds total

but there's restrictions on what materia you can use for overmelding, and each meld has a chance to fail

for other gear that you can't overmeld, basically you just forget grade 7 materia exists

8 is the best to use for that, 6 is the budget version of grade 8

overmelding has to be done by a player character that has a crafter leveled enough to meld the piece of gear. You can do it yourself, or request from another player who can, but yeah overmelding can't be done at NPC melder

Take your time and make sure you know what your abilities do, always be searchin and trust me the story becomes so much better once you are lvl50 and finish completely with the A Realm Reborn base game

How are people extracting so much materia in higher level dungeons? It's definitely not just their spiritbonded gear they have in their armory. Their doing something along the way and popping level VII materias left right and centre I don't get how they are doing it

It works with performance pretty much identical to windows, but with Shadowbringers the launcher started to check if you are running on wine, and if you do will prompt you to buy a macos version, because the new macos client is based on wine (and runs dxvk ontop of moltenvk). To workaround this you need wine-staging and enable the 'Hide wine version form applications' from the staging tab from winecfg. I don't use lutris, but i imagine that the installer will be fixed to do this automatically soon, if it's not already the case.```

Kind of depends:

1. is it used in a leve around your level and HQ: use it potentially, depending on how you want to allocate your leves
2. If it's outside of your level range leve fish and it's HQ, probably sell it
3. If it's used in an upcoming class quest (and it's HQ) keep it
4. If it's used in a class quest you've already done and HQ, probably sell it
5. If it's used in a current GC turn-in and HQ turn-it in
6. If it's used in a GC turn-in and HQ consider selling it
7. Otherwise just vendor sell / desynth it if it increases your desynth level for CUL

If the MB prices are kind of meh then might just be better off vendoring/desynthing it

Yes. You can augument the Phantasmagoria gear once you get the upgrade item with the Coin from the Nier raid, however Allegory Crystarium gear requires savage raiding to be augumented currently.
