cross class abilities were removed in stormblood because there was too much spagetti needed to maintain them and players have shown they will do as much as they can to avoid responsibilities to Maximize DPS so cross class became role actions so every job have what they need for specific situations

i've got a question about how dmg buffs work, so like if i have an ability that gives me 20% increased damage and another that gives me 5%, does it only affect your base damage or is there an order i can use them in to maximise dmg?

not something you should be worrying about at the moment until you hit lvl80 and are trying to bump your ilvl and gear up

other than that higher item level gear will provide more stats which in turn will push your stats to the next interval

keeping in mind your lvl range will have intervals different from the lv80 ones

you should be able to play in whatever server regardless of region

@quick quartz materia is made when you spiritbond your equipment to 100%

you can then right click the piece > extract materia

#

and it resets the spiritbond back to 1%

and gives you a random materia of the levelof the gear

weapon crafter would generally be blacksmith/carpenter/alchemist

armor would be weaver/leatherworker/armorer

#

food would be culinarian

#

keep in mind most crafts require materials that can be made by other craft jobs
