as the shire gear will be replaced by quest rewards in Stormblood quests.

@proud willow That's not entirely correct. There are two requirements to lose your sprout. The first is to reach level 70. The second is to have 168 hours /playtime. You can remain in the NN until both of those requirements are met OR if you have "returner" status.

So then what you can do is equip your sword and shield and job stone, then use the "recommended gear" (to the left of the gear set notepad).

That will auto-equip the "best" gear you have for PLD, and then you can save that to a new gear set.

Just remember that the recommended gear and sets will only recognize gear that is in your armory. Anything in your inventory cannot be "seen" by the system.

So, I am trying the game with the free trial period. I took a look at the classes-jobs, and DRK and PLD kind of look the most interesting to me. I, however, saw that the DRK class can only be obtained at lvl. 30, and has no base class.
So, supposing I wanted to start as a PLD (that has gladiator as a base, I believe?), would I then be able to switch to DRK later on? How does it exactly work?
