if you want to repeatedly apply a glamour each time you change gear, you can do that too using the glamour dresser

• you want to rank buttons by how often you want to press them. For skills you want to press often, you should keep them close
• then figure out buttons you don't want to screw up (limit break for example), you should make them the hardest to reach
• referring to the first point, Ability with 30-60s cooldown time qualify as buttons you want to press often

Hopefully these tips can get your started

Tbh, not much, the only tip I would give is to move your party list closer

As long as you can see things like your cooldowns and what the boss is doing easily, there is no real "meta"

So it is easier to select a specific party member with your mouse, and take less time to glance

Some people shove everything to the centre, some put everything to the edge

I have job gauge and cooldown tracking hotbar near my character, so I don't need to move my gaze too far away to see them

But another player can be so good at mentally tracking their cooldown and gauge, they would put theirs on the edge, and open up more space to see their character and the fight

It comes down to what works for you

It's a roulette for a reason

Leveling roulette isn't really about the dungeon you get

It's about the bonus xp you get from doing it

and since those story trials are fairly low level you'd get a decent boost as a higher level

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. 'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Looking for some advice on leveling, if anyone would be willing to share some insight (: I just finished 2.0 ARR and am level 56 and a half. I am trying to get to 60 to unlock Gunbreaker but everything I can see in MSQ is level 50 for a long while, which is minimal in terms of XP rewards for gaining levels beyond 51 or so. Is Palace of the Dead basically my only hope short of grinding out all of the MSQ's until Heavensward? Or is there another way I can grind out some decent XP in a matter of hours?

but...the difference is ABOUT half a second.

you see a boss cast an aoe. a White Mage gets a heal ready

a Scholar got a heal ready 2 seconds go

crafting also has macros to understand and use. gathering itself has macros to use
