then use Flood of Darkness to keep up your Darkside buff
later you will have Edge of Darkness, which is single target version of Flood of Darkness.
for the time being, Flood of Darkness can be used for hitting multiple enemies and for hitting a single boss

Aside from the difficulty of the fight it'd take between 1 to 4 runs to get the helmet. Less than 4 if you get it beforehand but if you clear it 4 times you can just buy it with the tokens. The raids have a loot lockout each week so at most that's 4 weeks. That said, I do forget which fight actually drops the helmet.

If you have a crafter leveled up and done the sidequests from Mutamix in Central Thanalan, Right-click the item > Meld Materia.
Otherwise, just talk to Materia Melder NPCs in the city-state marketplaces marked with a blue materia on the map.

and the normal difficulty raids is lower ilvl gear than the crystarium gear though yes it would be faster doing that
and the second tier of the 8-man raid savage version gives slightly better gear than the crystarium gear
but if you augment the crystarium gear then it's about the same. Augmenting the crystarium gear right now requires you to do the savage raid anyway

On the topic of Anemnesis, I do not recommend doing wall to wall pulls for the mobs between the second and third boss as that one is extremely tough. I personally pull the first set to the first set of diviners, and then second set to the second set of diviners.

There's no reason to buy Heavensward or Stormblood separately anymore as Shadowbringers has both of them.
