uptime is basically the amount of time you've actually been doing attacks and stuff
so 100% uptime basically means you've constantly been attacking the boss and haven't had a period of time when you weren't attacking
The biggest causes of losing uptime being death and mechanics forcing you to move away from the boss if you're a melee for example

Gathering ones are fine but need to invest in about 50 or so hicordals otherwise it becomes a hardcore time sink. For btn and min ones only collect on nodes with bonus to quantity and only use the hq buff (300 gp)

They were never hard if you were even remotely geared
however they did add a thing where if you fail then you can change the difficulty settings

I have out leveled my MSQ by around 18 levels. My FC said I should level a 2nd class and use the MSQ exp to level it up so I don’t “waste” the Exp.(I’m level 46 and my MSQ is around level 28). Anyone know what class I would like if I enjoy white mage? I really like healing but most people have told me to level a DPS because it’s a pain to level without MSQ, so I would prefer DPS recommendations. I would also accept any other advice on how to solve the outleveling problem

Arcanist can do both. Once you finish its level 30 class quest you can unlock both Summoner, a magic DPS, and Scholar, another healer.

You basically waste a higanbana to put on a slightly stronger higanbana

With Kaeshi Higanbana on one target, you'd need to apply normal Higanbana, and then immediately get rid of it for the Kaeshi version. So even though Kaeshi Higanbana is super strong, you're ruining your initial Hinganbana to get it, so it tends to only be worth it when you can put normal Higanbana on one thing, and Kaeshi on another

Through RNG, yes. By handing 5 materia to Mutamix in Central Thanalan it becomes another materia with a chance of being a higher grade.
For the best odds you want to use 5 different materia of the same grade, as you never get back the materia you trade in
