All of the currents on the field are available almost as soon as you reach each new map but the side quests that give the remaining currents are usually unlocked in steps as you progress with the last being given as you're leaving the zone.

Not that I'm aware of? Swallowskin coat and the similar piece bought with white scrips are DoH only as far as I know. I don't think there's a normal glam version of it atm.

@brave loom Extreme primals have a chance to drop mounts. Horses that are themed after the primal they dropped from. With the final one being a golden horse/dragon. Each of the beast tribe quest chains open up a shop in which you can buy a mount at the end. The second main story dungeon at level 50 gives you one of the magitek armors that you've seen around as well. There are quite a few actually.

Relic weapons are long term investment weapons. You upgrade them over a long period of time. All have pretty unique looks but require a lot of effort put into them usually. They're usually meant as a side thing to work towards during content lulls. The work usually pays off near the end of the expansion cycle however as they tend to rival best in slot raid weapons with the proper investment.

I DC directly before/after A LOT of cutscenes. In dungeons, quests, etc. From google this seemed to have been a really common problem, but is considered to be mostly fixed. It is definitely not my internet - everything else runs perfectly, and cutscenes seem to be the trigger. Is there any known fix?

@dry quiver At your low level, that kind of overleveling is normal. You'll eventually catch up to a point, even if you continue doing FATEs, where your MSQ will require you to be a higher level than your current level.
Particularly in the late ARR and early(ish) for each expansion where there are only a handful of quests per level bracket which don't give a lot of xp.

It's all personal preference. I've been learning SAM recently as I realized I'm not that great at NIN. Meanwhile my friend reached the opposite conclusion. Couldn't wrap their head around SAM but took to NIN like it was nothing.

Need advice ; so here's the situation, I recently came back to the game, haven't finished SB (i finished the first like part where u kill that empire guy dragon, and i think the last thing i've done is The Burn) My character is lvl 70, has ilvl 380 crafted gear (was worth alot back in the day x') ) only has sch/smn leveled, no crafters, no nothing, was able to get the gear from a friend crafting it for me, now my Dilema is, should I just stay on this character, I mean if i make a new char, i'll have the road to 70 buff, and i'll be able to get more jobs and crafters and stuff to lvl 60-70 much easier, BUT the biggest issue with this plan is.... ARR and HW questlines...they suck ! they bore me to death and idk if i'll be able to do it, and i can't afford skip potions ;-; ARR is fine, but HW is just terrible

We have some friends on Leviathan but I read that's a hardcore raiding server and has bad prices (whatever that means). The 3 of us are more going to be casual-ish players. Ripe, I think you might be confusing them by mixing together floor sets and the inside level.
Basically, every 10 floors is a single set you queue for using the POTD guy in south shroud. After beating the boss on the 10th floor you get a lump of experience for your outside level based on your outside level and the floor set you completed
The level you are inside of POTD does not change the experience you get outside.

A lot of people experience the patcher being excrutiatingly slow, and there's no real answer, sometimes it speeds up, other times it doesn't

Later skills help with catching the same fish, but for now it's just luck or paying attention to the time that the desired fish gets hooked
